Join us for the 2024 Benedictine Development Symposium
Christ the King Priory • Schuyler, Nebraska • June 17 – 21, 2024.
The Benedictine Development Symposium is comprised of religious and lay men and women who work in the area of development. It connects people with one another to provide resources and networking among the participants. With many religious communities getting smaller in numbers, the need to come together with our peers becomes increasingly more important - especially with those whose ministry is in the Benedictine world. The symposium is carefully planned to meet the needs of all participants no matter their level in development. Workshops and addresses are designed to assist the “rookie” and the “veteran”.
Story
Saint Benedict Center, an oasis of peace, is a non-profit, ecumenical retreat and conference center founded by the Missionary Benedictines of Christ the King Priory. As Benedictines we share our hospitality and spirituality with those who search for personal and spiritual growth. We welcome individuals and groups of all Christian denominations as they seek God in a peaceful and quiet setting. We provide an atmosphere that is conducive to prayer, rest, and renewal for laity, clergy and religious.
